Kaluđerica Substation

Substations · Belgrade – Mali Mokri Lug · 2016 – 2017

Design and construction of a new 35/10 kV substation called Kaluđerica with installed power of 2×8 MVA. Delivery and installation of a 35 kV plant, 10 kV plant, equipment for own consumption and backup power supply, and protection, control and monitoring equipment. The project was carried out in 2016-2017 under investor EPS – ED Beograd.

  • 35/10 kV, 2×8 MVA substation, delivery and construction of control and drive facility, access roads, transformer foundations, oil pit, fence and landscaping. The type of 35 kV switchgear is F400, manufactured by Schneider Electric. The cubicles are freestanding, air insulated with one busbar system with a separate compartment for low-voltage equipment, 36 kV rated voltage and 1250 A rated current. The 10 kV switchgear consists of 19 freestanding metal-clad cubicles, with one busbar system and pull-out switches.
  • All cubicles are equipped with MICOM microprocessor protection and control devices, manufactured by Schneider Electric.
  • The power transformers are 35/10 kV transformers with 8 MVA power and are mounted on newly built outdoor foundations. Power supply to 35/10 kV Kaluđerica Substation is provided from 110/35 kV Beograd IV Substation, via 346 AB “SM 1402-Boleč” power line.

Construction of the new 35/10 kV Kaluđerica substation contributes to the reliability and quality of power supply to two large Belgrade residential areas, Kaluđerica and Mali Mokri Lug, and enables further development of these areas, as well as of their economy.
