The instrument cabinets and electrical meters project was carried out in 2014 across Aranđelovac, Valjevo, Jagodina, Ćuprija, Paraćin, Svilajnac, Kraljevo, Kruševac, Lazarevac, Loznica, Užice and Šabac, under investor EPS – Elektrosrbija Kraljevo. It included delivery and installation of a displaced measuring point (installation of a new polyester cabinet with an electrical meter and required cable connections).
MO 1, MO 2 and MO 4 polyester cabinets were installed on the poles in the low-voltage network.
New electrical meters with DLMS protocol, new feeder cables and new cables to consumer facilities were installed.
This project covered about 5000 consumers.
The grounds for implementation of this project refers to heavy floods that compromised regular electricity supply to consumers. At the same time, EPS’s long-term plan was implemented – moving electrical meters to public surfaces for the purpose of unhindered access to make readings, etc.
