110/35/10 kV Kopaonik Substation

Delivery and installation of goods for 110/35/10kV Kopaonik Substation. The new facility was built in Suvo Rudište, Kopaonik, near the existing 35/10 kV Kopaonik Substation, with a control and drive facility, an entry portal, access roads and was equipped with power equipment. The project was carried out in 2016-2017 under investor Siemens/EPS Distribucija.

110/35/10 kV Kopaonik Substation is intended for transformation of voltage to a suitable distribution level and distribution of electricity to the consuming area. It consists of:

• Control and drive facility where plants the rated voltage of which amounts to 110 kV, 35 kV and 10 kV are located, underground cable level, rooms where other electrical equipment is located and auxiliary rooms;
• 110 kV SF6 gas-insulated switchgear with double busbar system;
• 35 kV plant with two busbar sections;
• 10 kV plant with two busbar sections;
• Two 110/36.75/10.5 kV power transformers with 31.5 MVA power;
• Portal pylon at the entrance to the plant for the purpose of introducing two 110 kV power lines into the substation building.

By reconstruction of 110 kV power line no. 1205 “Raška – Kopaonik” and construction of a connection, the facility is powered from 110/35 kV Raška Substation.

With the construction of the facility for 110/35/10 kV Kopaonik Substation, the total installed power of which amounts to 63 MVA, the reliability of the power supply to the consuming area was increased and backup power supply was provided.

110/35/10 kV Kopaonik Substation construction project entails connecting the substation to the neighboring facilities, as well as the main telecommunication route for connection to EMS fiber optic infrastructure, whereby voice and data transmission functionalities for operational management and business requirements are supported.
