110/10 kV Ribnica Substation

In May 2015, the project execution plan for 110/10 kV Ribnica Substation was completed, and demolishing works at the old plant and installation works for a new one were started shortly thereafter. Installation works were completed in May 2017, under investor EPS – Elektrosrbija Kraljevo.

The following facilities were constructed within the substation complex:

• 110 kV outdoor switchgear;
• 110/10 kV transformation;
• Control and drive facility with 10 kV switchgear;
• Access road and part of internal roads.

The 110 kV switchgear consists of two transformer bays, two line bays and sectioned busbars. In the first phase, one transformer bay, two line bays and 110 kV busbars were equipped with gear.

Description of key equipment:

• T1 transformer: type: RT 31500; manufacturer: ETRA; rated gear ratio: 110±11×1.5% 10.5 kV; 50Hz rated frequency; 31.5/31.5 MVA rated power;
• 123 kV, 1250 A, 31.5 kA SF6 three-pole circuit breaker with one motor drive;
• Motor-driven 123 kV, 1250 A, 31.5 kA three-pole disconnector with grounding blades;
• 123 kV, 600/1/1/1 A current transformer;
• 123 kV, 110/√3/0.1/√3/0.1/√3 kV, kl.0 0.5; 25 VA inductive voltage transformers;
• 123 kV, 110/√3/0.1/√3/kV, kl.0 0.5; 25 VA capacitor voltage transformers.

It refers to safer and better-quality power supply to consumers.
