The main objective of the project of exchange of the previously used mercury lighting with new LED lighting is to save significant amounts of money which should cover the costs of energy consumption and to save costs of regular lighting maintenance.
Achieved energy consumption savings lead to the proportional reduction of CO₂ emissions. Thus we can achieve a more comfortable lighting system which is completely in line with the sustainable development objective of the community. The benefits of LED lighting are reduced environmental pollution, reduced CO₂ emissions, reduced costs of the community and increase reliability of the whole lighting system.
The introduction of the new public lighting system is enabled by private partners Petrol doo Beograd and Smart Energy Investment with the subcontractor Elektomontaža doo from Kraljevo. During the 15 years of contract warranty the savings will amount to more than 150.000 euro.
