Zoran Stanković has been leading Elektromontaža Kraljevo as of April 2012, soon after the completion of the privatization process.
With his personal engagement, Zoran has contributed to the strengthening of the company’s position in the market, by boosting the sales, managing the internal reorganization, upgrading business processes and raising levels of expertise throughout all business aspects. Due to the transformation process organized and led by Zoran, Elektromontaža has grown into a modern, market-oriented company and one of the leaders in its field, with the ambition to expand onto the foreign markets.
He started his career in 1994 as a chemical process designer in the largest Serbian paint and varnishes factory Duga, soon moving to run the sector, and continuing to move up the ladder first as the business development director and then as the deputy general manager. During his engagement in the Duga company, Zoran acquired vast leadership skills and international project management and start-up experience by doing work in China and Russia. In 2006 he became the general manager of Galeb GTE company, gaining fresh experience primarily in the field of telecommunications and then in railway signaling systems, packaging production, trade, etc. Shifting focus on telecommunications, Zoran’s next engagement is in the Greek company Intracom Telecom, where he spent three years as the general manager of its Serbian subsidiary, achieving the bests results in comparison to all other Intracom’s affiliated companies.
Zoran graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy – University of Belgrade, as one of the top 5 students in his class, and got his Master degree in 2000. He obtained the title of a licensed project designer in 1995. He spent six months altogether doing specialist studies at the Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology in Moscow and at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA. He has authored numerous articles in domestic chemistry and technology journals. Zoran is also engaged in the arts.
